A custom-made MDF bookcase for the side of the fireplace, by Catherine

In this DIY project, Catherine shows that with a little creativity and some MDF ordered online, you can create a beautiful bookcase. Thanks to sawn panels, you can start your work immediately. The results are impressive!
 

Description of Catherine

We wanted a custom bookcase on either side of the fireplace in our bedroom. We made the plans, took the exact measurements and ordered what we needed from tosize.

How I carried out this project

The most important thing is to hang precise measurements. Then you just have to assemble the different parts and fix them using pins so that there are no visible screws. Finally, on the MDR edges, put a finishing putty to make them smooth, then sand and paint in two coats. The implementation is simple and offers a very good, inexpensive and quality result.
