Very easy

Luc has tailor-made a unique monitor stand for his workplace at home. He used birch plywood with a thickness of 9 and 18 mm to make this monitor standard. A relatively simple project but very useful!
Description by Luc
A simple, but quite large monitor stand was made using plywood that fits over the entire width of a 160cm desk. With matching planks that are loose so they can be easily removed to change layout.
How I made this project
1. First I drew several variations in Sketchup to achieve nice proportions.
2. The exact dimensions entered in the configurator
3. Everything was carefully measured on the wood and checked with the Sketchup drawings
4. Measure carefully again so that there are no errors
5. Drill holes for the dowels that attach the wooden legs or uprights to the top shelf
6. Sanding the whole thing (easier without everything being put together)
7. Glue the whole thing together and let it dry thoroughly with weights and clamps
8. Apply lacquer/varnish or paint. I used varnish for a matte look
Dimensions of my DIY project
160.0 x 30.0 x 15.0 cm
