In this DIY project, HP shares its experience with creating an extra workplace in a beauty salon. After devising and working on the design, he ordered the sawn black MDF panels online. This way he could immediately start this project.

Description of HP

10 years ago, a counter was once designed in black MDF, an extra workstation has now been attached to it, also in black MDF. With a shallow cupboard with storage space and a display of the various nail bottles, which also serves as a shield from the street.

How I made this project

Based on the existing counter, which I had previously designed and made, the need for an additional workplace became apparent when the salon was expanded. I then designed it and ordered all the parts online. The whole thing is nailed together with some glue (with some black sawdust from the MDF to seal the holes), then lubricated in an impregnating oil to finish. The result is a workplace, nicely concealed next to the half-height cupboard.
