In this DIY project, Erik-Jan shows how he made a nice children's corner with custom-sawn panels. Using IKEA elements as a basis, this was a relatively simple project with a nice result.
Description by Erik-Jan
Together with cabinets from Ikea, we created a nice children's corner with desk. A worktop made of plywood and a back wall made of MDF. You can still paint it nicely.
How I made this project
This project was realized by first making a design. Measure everything neatly and make a good plan. Then ordered everything online. Everything fits fine and I secured it with various holes and screws. A few screws are used per plate for strength. The plates are quite large so it was a challenge. But in the end everything worked out. In this way I have created a unique tailor-made children's corner.
Dimensions of my DIY project
300.0 x 60.0 cm and approximately 120.0 cm high
