Wooden plating of trailer renewed. Moisture can penetrate if the saw cuts are not properly impregnated. And the old concrete plywood in my case does not handle bending well either. In my opinion, the movement of the trailer floor under load is partly the reason why the floor was completely rotten under the influence of moisture. It is clear that this is not a desirable situation for a public road vehicle. That's why I finally tackled it thoroughly.

How I made this project

The woodwork of our trailer was completely rotten. Probably due to incorrect sealing against moisture and bending due to the flexibility of the trailer. So I completely stripped the trailer and found new 15 mm anti-slip sheet material especially for trailer floors at this online sawmill. The material arrived quickly and beautifully cut to size. I pre-impregnated all saw cuts with injection resin. No more moisture gets in through there! The plates fit exactly and our trailer is like new again. Nice project and beautiful result!
