We ordered a custom TV cabinet made from black oak furniture panel. The advantage of this is that you no longer have to paint it. Tip: measure it really carefully, the better you do this, the more beautiful it will be. When the pallet arrived, we started installing the higher cabinet. First take a good look at which planks should go where, and do this with two people! We chose TOSIZE.lu because you can easily assemble the cabinet and you can also order exactly the dimensions you want. We hesitated for a while about which type of wood to choose, but in the end we are happy with the furniture panel.

How I made this project

I drilled two holes in the back wall for ventilation and cables. This will contain something, which you can see in the photo of the end result. Once the cabinet was assembled, we laid out all the parts of the lowboard. This way we know exactly which part goes where. We placed this on a soft surface so that it does not scratch. During assembly, we have already placed equipment in the cabinet to ultimately conceal the cables properly. The lowboard has much smaller panels than the higher cabinet, making it easy to assemble by 1 person. I drilled some holes in the back wall of the lowboard so that cables can pass through. Do this in the right place and not too much. Of course it will remain firm. And the end result is impressive! The cabinet is approximately 4.5m wide in total. The tall cabinet is 114 wide. We have chosen this width to ensure that the whole is in balance. A tall cupboard that is too wide makes the whole thing a bit cumbersome. In addition, we wanted the compartments to be of equal widths, so that they radiate tranquility.
