MDF Moisture-resistant Redgum mix veneer is a moisture-resistant MDF board with a natural appearance, thanks to its top layer of wood veneer. This layer is made of Redgum wood.
This appearance is characterised by a light to medium colour with a subtle, even grain. The veneer often shows the visual traces of the original tree, giving it a natural and characterful appearance. The top layers and end edges have yet to be treated.
MDF Moisture-resistant spruce with knots mix veneer variant for use in damp rooms. A bathroom cabinet is an example for which MDF moisture-resistant is the perfect solution. The board consists of wood fibres that have been compressed under high pressure, and in the case of MDF damp-proofing, a special water-resistant adhesive has been used for this purpose. It is used for decorative applications mainly in bathrooms, kitchens and other rooms where humidity could be an obstacle. Thanks to the Technical Matt melamine top layer, the board is also very suitable for intensive horizontal use. The material is scratch-resistant, water and heat-resistant, antibacterial and has a luxurious velvety touch. In terms of applications, you can think of countertops, bathroom cabinets, wall covering in sanitary ware and countertops. This makes the sheet a bit sturdier and it can be sanded even smoother for a nice finish.
MDF Moisture-resistant V313 Black SBL Valchromat is an untreated coloured MDF grade. The board consists of wood fibres compressed together with a black pigment under high pressure. This makes the material easy to work with and does not splinter. It is important to degrease the material well before painting. The material also has an absorbent effect. It is therefore only suitable for indoor applications and in dry conditions.
