In this DIY project, Gael shows how he made a custom wardrobe using the online sawing service. He chose to use primed poplar plywood. A light but sturdy material. And thanks to the base layer, it is also easy to quickly paint yourself. All panels have been measured by Gael himself and entered into the online order configurator. After a few days he could start working with the panels sawn to size.

Description of Gael

A wardrobe, with part under a sloping roof. 2 different depths to maximize space usage. Clothes racks have also been installed and extra storage space has been provided.

How I made this project

I worked with 18 mm planks. I fixed the planks with screws. This is the "tricky part" because everything has to be at a good level. I divided the entire piece of furniture into 4 sub-pieces of furniture. I started with the furniture under the sloping roof, which I did in two parts: a four-corner and a three-corner on top. Then I also placed the longer and deeper cabinet in 2 sub cabinets for more stability. Then I installed the sliding doors. Not easy but doable.

Dimensions of my DIY project

Length 320.0 cm
Width: 50.0 cm and 39.0 cm
Max height: 228.0 cm
